Tehran is willing to reinitiate atomic discussions with Washington on condition that it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

Abbas Araghchi said exclusively dialogue produced results, and disclosed new appeals had been made by mediators to resume discussions with the US government. He asserted Iran did not have secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect attacked atomic facilities for safety concerns.

Navigating a Challenging Course

Araghchi is navigating a complex course since Iran wishes not to be seen to be operating from a situation of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged more resilient defensively and psychologically from the joint assault on its atomic facilities in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium within its borders that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Earlier Negotiations Abruptly Concluded

Following this, EU nations employed their privilege to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Iranian officials said they felt they had attained a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in previous talks, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with US participation could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We learned numerous insights from this war; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the vulnerabilities of the opponent."

He added: "We effectively endured this conflict. Our atomic expertise, which they aimed to destroy, continues to exist. The installations and gear, if destroyed, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the unity of the country that they targeted, but failed to shatter. The nation of Iran have grown more powerful, more united, and more backing of the government and the state in the face of this attack."
